If you get regular prescriptions the Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) may be able to save you time by saving you unnecessary trips to your GP. You can call us to nominate you for this service and then give us 5 working days to prepare your medication and get it delivered.
If you need one of your regular medicines in an emergency when you are unable to contact your doctor, we may be able to help. We must stress that this can only be done in genuine emergencies and it may incur a charge. If you would like any more information about any of the services mentioned please contact us.
We can advise over the telephone/by email on medical requirements for travellers, including anti-malaria treatments
Our systems allow us to keep records of all your prescriptions dispensed by us. This enables us to check for possible interactions, such as reactions between medicines and deal with any queries you may have.
We comply with the Data Protection Act and the NHS Code of Practice on Confidentiality. If you want to discuss the records we keep, please telephone the pharmacist.
We are focused on providing free prescription collection from Woodbrook Medical Centre, Forest House Surgery, Field Street Surgery, Bridge Street Medical Practice, Pinfold Medical Practice and free prescription delivery to Leicestershire/Nottinghamshire /Derbyshire areas.
It is a new way of getting your medicines without having to ask the doctor for a prescription each time. Your doctor will give you several prescription forms; a "repeatable prescription" also set of "batch prescriptions". Once you sign up for our prescription collection service, we will collect these prescriptions from your GP surgery and then deliver the medication to your home at regular intervals for up to 12 months as agreed by your doctor.
